Ziigmund Dropped for $490k

Only one day past finally recording a winning sitting, Ilari “Sahamies” Ziigmund crashed a stunning $490k. In his defense, Sahamies dreaded no one as he played over 1,000 hands against icons such as Phil Ivey, Dan “jungleman12” Cates plus Brian Hastings. Unfortunately for Sahamies, every aforementioned player was able to collect a huge sum from the Finn.

Ivey and Hastings were both successful at the $200/$400 Six-Max PLO tables where Ziigmund lost $190k. Sahamies found no comfort in heads-up play either, as Cates absolutely crashed him for over $270k. After the session finally ended, Sahamies found himself $1.2 million low in 2010. It’s the only time this year Ziigmund been down over $1 million and he’s going to need a huge comeback if he wants to get even before the year ends. It was a very different story for jungleman12 who concluded his session up a total of $384k.

Cates is starting to come through as the biggest winner of 2010 with $4.6 million. Tom Dwan is second with $3.9 million while Phil Ivey in third with $3.2 million.
